Perayaan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia pada tanggal 17 Agustus adalah momen penting bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia untuk mengenang proklamasi kemerdekaan pada tahun 1945. Pada hari ini 16 Agustus 2025, berbagai kegiatan seperti Upacara bendera dan lomba-lomba diadakan oleh pengelola Apartemen Bassura City untuk penghuni apartemen baik anak-anak sampai dengan orang tua. Adapun lomba-lomba tradisional yang diadakan seperti (tarik tambang, balap karung, makan kerupuk), dan berbagai lomba lainnya. Perayaan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan semangat nasionalisme, kebersamaan, dan rasa cinta tanah air
